Waugh: 'I'm single and available, boys'

Bronagh Waugh has confirmed that she is available and looking for a man.

The actress, who plays Cheryl Brady in Hollyoaks, said that an important prerequisite for a potential suitor is that he can make her smile.

"I'm very much single and available, boys!" Inside Soap reports Waugh as saying. "I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh - but they need to be passionate about what they do.

"It doesn't matter to me if he's a milkman, he just needs to be passionate about selling milk."

Waugh was confirmed as a Hollyoaks regular in January and turned up in the village in May. Next week, her character and Gilly Roach (Anthony Quinlan) will take their pretend relationship, hatched to stir up jealousy in their respective love interests, to a new level when they go to bed together.
