Zoe Carpenter (Zoë Lister) makes her first appearance in court during tonight's Hollyoaks as she stands trial for the murder of her best friend Sarah Barnes.
With the knowledge that Sarah's parachute was tampered with on their adventure weekend during Hollyoaks Later, their jump instructor Kingsley takes the stand. He goes on to recount Lydia's concerns about Zoe's 'obsession' with Sarah and her attempts to sabotage Lydia and Sarah's relationship.
Zoe's frustrated by Kingsley's evidence, as she knows that it's based entirely on Lydia's false claims. With that, Lydia takes the stand and claims that Zoe was jealous of her relationship with Sarah. The lies continue as Lydia maintains that she heard Zoe making an aggressive move on Sarah the night before her fatal fall.
The trial continues.
Hollyoaks airs tonight at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
