Lister "proud" of 'Oaks parachute stunt

Hollyoaks actress Zoë Lister has praised Sarah Barnes's dramatic skydive death scenes.

Lesbian student Sarah, played by 22-year-old Loui Batley, was killed off on spinoff Hollyoaks Later last month when she jumped out of a plane while wearing a sabotaged parachute.

Lister, best known for her role as troubled Zoe Carpenter, has now confirmed that she was thrilled with how the stunt appeared on screen when she watched the episode herself.

In an interview with DS, she commented: "I loved it! I was so proud when I watched it back. It was so powerful.

"The whole sequence was amazing, with the music. It was such a long sequence and even though you knew what was going to happen, it was great to watch."

The tragic incident has led to Zoe being accused of Sarah's murder, despite the fact that scheming Lydia Hart was the real culprit.

Zoe's trial will air this week on the Channel 4 soap. Both Zoe and Lydia will be seen giving contrasting stories about the events which led to their adventure holiday with Sarah going horribly wrong.
