Nick Pickard not leaving 'Hollyoaks'

Nick Pickard has dismissed reports claiming that he is leaving Hollyoaks.

The 35-year-old actor, who plays Tony Hutchinson on the teen soap, insisted that there is "absolutely no truth" in suggestions he is angry at the Channel 4 show's producers.

He added in a statement: "My new storyline with the Sharpe family is on screen this week and I couldn't be happier with [series producer] Paul [Marquess's] work so far. I have no intention of going anywhere anytime soon!"

According to PA, a Hollyoaks spokesperson also confirmed that Pickard is staying with the serial.
