POTD: India is murdered in 'Hollyoaks'

The festive season gets off to a grim start in a double bill of Hollyoaks this evening as India is tragically murdered.

Having struck up an online relationship with the seemingly perfect 'Cameron', India finally agrees to meet her mystery man at The Dog - but things don't go to plan when he fails to show up.

Later, India receives an apologetic text from 'Cameron' in which he asks her to meet him elsewhere. Keen to follow in Texas's footsteps and be bold for once, India sneaks out of The Dog and heads off for her date.

On the way to a restaurant, India stumbles across a man who's having car trouble and lends him a hand. He seems friendly enough at first, but when he mentions India's online dating profile and how he's been exchanging messages with her, she realises she's in terrible danger.

'Cameron' then fatally attacks India and dumps her body in some woods, while her loved ones back in the village remain clueless about the shocking turn of events…


Hollyoaks airs tonight at 6.00pm and 6.30pm on Channel 4.
