Lacey Turner's sister joins 'Hollyoaks'

Lacey Turner's younger sister Daisy has landed a role on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, reports have revealed.

The 19-year-old has already begun filming with the teen drama, though details of the character she is playing are currently being kept under wraps.

According to the Daily Star, Daisy has told friends that she wants to 'really begin to make a mark' as an actress following her casting.

News of her appointment has been confirmed by Hollyoaks bosses and details of the newcomer's character, storyline and the duration of her stint are expected to be revealed in due course.

Daisy's elder sister Lacey bowed out of EastEnders late last year following six years in the role of Stacey Slater on the Walford soap.

Meanwhile, Lacey's youngest sister Lily Harvey is about to appear in EastEnders for a guest stint as 'cheeky youngster' Shenice.
