'Oaks star: 'Darren may be tempted'

Ashley Taylor Dawson has admitted that he would not be surprised if his Hollyoaks character Darren Osborne was tempted back into the arms of Cindy Longford.

The actor recently confirmed that Darren is hoping to win back his ex-girlfriend Nancy Hayton (Jessica Fox) following their split earlier this year.

However, in an interview with Soaplife, Dawson claimed that it could still be possible for Darren to be won over by Cindy's (Stephanie Waring) wealth further down the line.

He explained: "Nancy has really calmed Darren down. He's totally in love with her, but I can see him being tempted by Cindy. You have to remember also that she is a millionairess!"

The star also confirmed that Cindy will be stunned when Darren and Nancy get back together in the coming days.

He said: "Cindy is shocked because she can't believe that Darren would go for anyone but her."

Cindy returned to the village earlier this month after her husband Alistair fell to his death from an Alp while on their extended honeymoon.
