'Hollyoaks' Jessica Fox: "Nancy's tattoo is a nightmare"

Hollyoaks star Jessica Fox has confessed that she is not a fan of her alter ego's tattoo.

Her character Nancy Hayton, who has been in the village for six years, has a large painted tattoo on her back.

Fox told Reveal magazine: "Nancy's tattoo is a nightmare and has put me off getting one.

"It's too masculine. And sometimes if I'm wearing a pretty dress, I think it ruins the look. I have thought about getting a little Fox tattoo, but I think as an actress, you have to be a blank canvas."

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old also admitted that Nancy's initial green hair was poorly-judged. "When I was first on the show Nancy had green hair, which is definitely not a good look," she added.

"I personally have had a few hair disasters. When I went back to black from red and then to blonde, there were a few in-between stages that weren't too great."
