As the mini-bus accident occurs immediately afterwards and leaves several lives on the line, viewers will have to wait and see whether Tony ever gets a chance to confront Cindy.
Pickard told Inside Soap: "Tony feels like his whole life is unravelling around him, and then the mini-bus comes crashing through the wall! He's gutted that Cindy has betrayed him, but all the carnage of the smash soon gets in the way."
He continued: "If Tony and Cindy survive, I hope he finally dumps her - because she's always mugging him off. People usually tell me to get rid of her! I'd like Tony to find some happiness at last."

Pickard added that he loved filming the dramatic crash episodes, which culminate in a huge explosion.
He said: "It was the biggest explosion I've ever seen in my life. I watched from a safe distance and I could still feel the heat. The sheep were two fields away and they raced off! We filmed on location at Knowsley Hall, which is a very grand setting for a big Hollyoaks disaster."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
