I think it looks good gives it a bit more edge and i think that it looks more sophisticated as everyone knows the show is changing with new characters...
Phoebe, Chelmsford on June 14th, 2009
I loved the old old old logo! with the Tree but i am a long time Hollyoaks fan! and am slightly nostalgic! I think the ad bumpers looked classier in black and white!
Carly Thomas, Cardiff on June 10th, 2009
hate the new logo and the titles think its about time we seen sum new titles
Jamie Price on June 10th, 2009
i do not like this new logo its way to dark why didn't she change the titles and give them a fresh new look?
Emma Jones on June 10th, 2009
i think they should have changed them completely and had a brand new look. Don't like this new logo, it's to dark.
Tommy Almond, Liverpool on June 8th, 2009
Gemma from London needs to shut the hell up :) this change was a long time coming, you may have noticed that since the start of Lucy's reign as series producer the camera angles have changed and became alot more unusual and creative, these are not the only changes that Lucy is going to make, these things take time. And, I like both logos, I think the grey one is more sophisticated but the coloured one is nice aswell.
Sammi, North Yorkshire on June 7th, 2009
I like it, and I'm addicted to Hollyoaks right now, all those saying now Warren and Justin have gone there is no Hollyoaks are wrong, just wait and see! New characters coming in, can't wait!!!!
Lauren, Somerset on June 7th, 2009
I like the colour picture but not sure about the title. Also they should put every character in the title sequence.
Ellie, Chester on June 6th, 2009
I LOVE it ! thinks it looks a lot more mature and more sophisticated..Love the new episodes :) (L)Newt(L)
Gemma, London on June 6th, 2009
Your soap is going down the pan and gets no BSA nominations....so you change the colour of the logo. Erm.....
Georgey, Reading on June 5th, 2009
i like the new logo especially the bit in black and white instead of the blue and pink.. its like a new generation of hollyoaks as one set of characters leave and a new set come. It looks a bit more up to date and younger to.
Amy, Manchester on June 5th, 2009
No Warren, No Justin, No Hollyoaks in my view
Laura on June 4th, 2009
I like it - I think it looks classier! I'm really loving Hollyoaks at the moment, Lucy is doing a fab job so far! :D x
Maree, Luton on June 4th, 2009
i like the new logo, its different and a nice change.
Rick on June 4th, 2009
That's their idea of change? A couple of changes to the opening credits? This show is awful at the moment - ill thought out storylines - uber shallow characater development and an over-reliance on using flesh to cover up the poor writing and acting. Changing the credits won't cut it.
Zara on June 4th, 2009
the other one was better even i could make this one
Sarah, Blackburn on June 4th, 2009
I must admit I quite like the new logo but I've still not got my head around the weird background noise in the theme tune that sounds a bit like a screech and needs some attention, in my opinion. I do agree for more of the characters to be in the opening credits and not just the younger ones too.
Shannon, Cornwall on June 4th, 2009
love it, the grey colours are more sophisticated, whereas the blue and pink was a bit childish; i know its aimed at children but i just believe the grey tones are better. and its not dull, the reason they changed the characters ad break vids to colour was to prevent the feeling of dullness. so yeah, s'all good (: x
Anniee, Cov on June 3rd, 2009
I think it looks much better than the pink and blue logo. The characters in colour also make it better than the old black and white version
Rachel, Shropshire on June 3rd, 2009
i actually like it, quite distinctive really. good work! loving the show right now Lucy! x
Stacey, Birmingham on June 3rd, 2009
It looks nice, well done! They do it great everytime :)
Fraser, Erskine on June 3rd, 2009
I think the whole opening titles need to be updated. I love the idea that as characters arrive and exit, they go in and out of the titles. But i think it needs to change more often to keep it fresh. Also, more minor characters such as Lydia, Myra, Mike, Danny, Abi, Caleb, Frankie, Jack, Loretta, Neville, Suzanne, Gaz, Gov, Bel, Leo and Marc should feature to remind viewers that they still count as major characters and they get as much credit as the younger cast
Nate, Manchester on June 3rd, 2009
On Monday I thought they were grayed out because Warren had died, but then I realised they were here to stay....Can't say I am that fond of them.
Brekkie, Wales on June 3rd, 2009
It does seem to be change for changes sake - and it doesn't animate into the opening scene as well as the blue/pink version.
J, Glasgow on June 3rd, 2009
Its Zoe! Love love love! :)
Lewis Carrickfergus on June 3rd, 2009
I think they're really cool, I thought the pink and blue ones were rather childish looking
June, Worcester on June 3rd, 2009
I prefer the old one it to plain and hardly any colours that stand out
Trisha on June 3rd, 2009
i prefer this one!
Stephen, Ballymena on June 3rd, 2009
I just don't see the point in the change, its not as if I don't like it, I just don't see the need. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
Maisie, Chester on June 3rd, 2009
Meh ..... I kinda prefer the old one. But I'm not saying this one is rubbish. Good luck to Lucy Allen. I can only hope she'll improve Hollyoaks. Since January, it has been on a downward spiral. But my favourite character has got to be Theresa McQueen. I only tend to watch episodes whenever she's in it. I reckon she'll be the last McQueen girl standing, just like Stacey is the only Slater girl left in EastEnders
Mel, Sussex on June 3rd, 2009
I would have liked for the older cast members to be included to be honest. I prefer the coloured version though and monochrome though.
Matt Cole, Manchester on June 3rd, 2009
I really like it more sophisticated!
Stephanie, Belfast on June 3rd, 2009
don't really see much point in changing it and i don't think it looks as good as the pink and blue i think they should change it back
Dan, Nottingham on June 3rd, 2009
LOVE the coloured pictures but not so sure about the monochrome titles :s
Nic, London on June 3rd, 2009
I wish they'd get rid rid of the two gender symbols as well. If they want the show to be taken seriously they should think about these things.
Dave, London on June 3rd, 2009
I noticed this yesterday and thought it looks better... more mature
Tiffany Walker on June 3rd, 2009
ive noticed and i like it ;) !x.
James, Gloucester on June 3rd, 2009
Yeah, I preferred the old logo, new one looks boring in monochrome. I swear it's smaller as well.
Kim, Blackpool on June 3rd, 2009
I preferred the pink and blue, stood out more, and suited the programme a lot better!
Josh, Notts on June 3rd, 2009
I think it's a small, insignificant change, but I still think it looks good. Plus I love the opening credits when you see all the characters, but I do think they should include some of the "older" ones i.e. Mike, Myra, Frankie, Jack etc
