Brendan Brady's involvement in Hollyoaks' Silas storyline steps up a gear in next week's episodes as he lets Lynsey know that he's on her side.

When Lynsey returns to the village following her time away, she's encouraged as Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) concedes that she may be right about Silas (Jeff Rawle) after all. But Brendan will soon have drama of his own to deal with thanks to Rae (Alice Barlow)…

Meanwhile, it's the start of sixth form which means a new chapter for Bart, Sinead and Jason - and a gang of newbies to get to know.

Elsewhere, Texas is back in Dodger's arms - but Lee and Jamil don't seem too impressed…

Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 7pm on E4.
