'Hollyoaks': Esther to see Ruby's true colours

 |  By  |  12 comments
Esther Bloom receives a nasty shock on Hollyoaks next week as she realises that her bullying nightmare isn't over.

The troubled teenager has been given some breathing space in recent weeks as her chief tormentor Maddie Morrison is now dead, while Ruby Button (Anna Shaffer) and Sinead O'Connor (Stephanie Davis) are both being nice to her temporarily for their own interests.

Ruby and Sinead currently need Esther (Jazmine Franks) on side as they don't want her to reveal the truth about the devastating mini-bus crash disaster. However, that all changes next week when the crash inquest takes place and puts the teens in the clear.

Now having no need to keep Esther sweet, a hateful Ruby shows her true colours by revealing that she does blame her for the crash, despite her previous assurances to the contrary.

With the pressure increasing on Esther once again, she loses her cool at a memorial service held for Maddie, Jono and Neil - telling everyone what she really thought of Maddie.

Esther's antics are likely to alienate her even further from her so-called friends, but Ruby may have to do some quick thinking when Frankie and Jack want to know what is wrong with Esther…

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday, December 10, Tuesday, December 11 and Wednesday, December 12 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Esther's bullying storyline will continue into the New Year and is also currently being explored on the show's DocYou spinoff website.
