'Hollyoaks': How should Brendan Brady exit? - Have your say

Fans learned earlier this week that Emmett Scanlan will be leaving his Hollyoaks role of Brendan Brady.

Since arriving in 2010, Brendan has become one of the most popular characters in the show's 18-year history.



So how will writers choose to say goodbye to the Irish bad boy? Will he flee the village? Could he be killed off?

Of the more unlikely scenarios, could Brendan walk off into the sunset with Ste?

Speaking to Digital Spy last month, Scanlan insisted that he would refuse a dull exit storyline: "I absolutely don't want him to leave in a taxi - I won't shoot that scene. If you write me a taxi scene, I'm not shooting it!"

Indeed, yesterday the actor promised that Brendan's departure would be "epic", whetting viewers' appetite three months before he bids farewell.
