A source close to the show told me: "The 'Who Pushed Clare?' storyline looks to culminate in September and the whole thing wraps in the biggest shock Hollyoaks has ever seen. In the meantime, Warren's trial looks to dominate August – but will he go down for pushing Clare? Or will the real culprit be caught?"
A question dropped into my inbox the other day about Helen Pearson, who plays Frankie Dean in the Channel 4 soap, as to her whereabouts. Well, I can tell you that she's been taking a break from filming for a few months for "personal reasons" but will definitely be back on screen later in the year.

This week, it's the wedding of the year in Hollyoaks - Thursday and Friday's episodes are fantastic, by the way – and Nicole Owen (Ciara Johnson) is back. Unfortunately she only reprised her role for wedding week but, of course, there's always a possibility of her returning in the future.
Elsewhere, Josh's (Sonny Flood) cousin Fletch (Sam Darbyshire) will take more air time over the summer months and is now being classed as a "regular" alongside Josh, Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes) and Amy (Ashley-Slanina Davies) – they've formed a band called The Baby Diegos.
My Chester source said: "Both Micheala and Sasha have got the hots for Fletch so he has a tough choice to make. Will he break someone's heart or will he get the best of both worlds?"

And finally, rumour has it that there's going to be a new addition to the Hollyoaks cast at the end of the summer. "He's going to be a bit of a charmer and sets his sights on one of the Hollyoaks ladies," my source added. "And from the outset, he realises that he definitely can't have exactly what and who he wants."
Oh, and before I forget, keep checking the soaps section over the next few weeks for a HUGE Hollyoaks announcement.
