'Hollyoaks' and the E4 situation

Published Saturday, Sep 15 2007, 15:13 BST | By Kris Green | 7 comments
Further to my preview blog entry ''Hollyoaks' reveal held back', I've had numerous e-mails and 'Your Views' asking whether E4 played the wrong episode on Thursday night or whether I had incorrectly reported the situation.

To clarify: E4 were supposed to transmit the edited version of the reveal episode on Thursday, meaning that Friday was intended to be the first time viewers saw Clare's pusher confess his sin.

This was still the situation at 6pm on Thursday night.

I'm not exactly sure what happened but I bet there were a few unhappy bunnies at Lime Pictures on Thursday evening/Friday morning...

So, if you missed it the first time - or the second - here's that fantastic reveal again.

Meanwhile, two of Hollyoaks' major storylines are wrapped up in the space of five days next week. Clare exacts her revenge on Justin (and Warren), while Craig leaves for Dublin.

I think next week is one of the best weeks of Hollyoaks I've ever seen. Talk about upping the ante.

'McDean' fans will be pleased with Guy Burnet's final episode. It might not be the sunset ending you've all been waiting for but they've definitely done the characters justice.

And the cliff stunt with Clare - wow. Check back on Sunday for an 'In Pictures' special.
