2329: Max and Steph tie the knot

Kieron leaves John Paul sleeping in his bed as he slips out to prepare for the wedding. He passes a downbeat Niall on his way out and assuming that Niall is still upset about Steph, offers some consoling words and tells him that John Paul should be up soon, the alarm clock is set.

As he leaves, Niall pinches Max and Steph's wedding vows from Kieron's jacket pocket. As soon as Kieron's gone, Niall sneaks into the room where John Paul is sleeping, there is a note: ‘See you later, gorgeous. K xxx.' Niall quietly turns off the alarm clock and places the vows next to the bed. Later, Niall coaxes Myra into offering to pick up the wedding vows for Kieron. As she walks into the bedroom and finds the forgotten vows, she also spots the note lying beside them. She's confused by its meaning but it all becomes disturbingly clear when John Paul walks into the room, fresh from the shower - her son has been sleeping with Father Kieron. She's horrified by her discovery and can't bear to talk to John Paul.

Max and O.B. wake up in a heap with hangovers in Max's living room and it slowly dawns on them that it's Max's wedding day. Tony arrives to hurry them along and is mortified to find that they aren't ready yet. They are about to leave when Max starts getting chest pains, fearing the worst they rush to hospital. With a long-standing heart condition OB and Tony are deeply worried for their friend – will he make it to the church or will his health finally get the better of him?

Meanwhile, Myra is sat at the church seething at the hypocritical audacity of Kieron to stand before God when he has been sleeping with John Paul. Before long John Paul bursts in looking for Myra, slipping into the seat next to her, he tries to apologise but it only serves to further enrage her. Will Myra keep Kieron's dirty secret or will she vilify him in front of the entire congregation?

Mandy returns to Il Gnosh to a startled Tony. Jacqui spots the two of them together and is enraged but for once, a pregnant, guilty and irritable Tina is the most outspoken McQueen. Her jealousy is heightened when she misconstrues Mandy giving Dom a friendly hug. Tina and Jacqui are determined to keep Mandy away from their men…
