
Carmel's full of romantic notions about her forthcoming wedding but it's a very different situation at the Valentines', with Calvin barely coping with the guilt as pressure from Warren continues to build. Calvin confesses his guilt over Nige to Warren and informs him he's not the man everyone thinks he is. Forced into a corner, Calvin sees no other option than to cancel the wedding. However, Warren insists he needs to pull himself together. When Carmel arrives, she's delighted to hear that Warren's arranging Calvin's stag night. Valerie's aware that things aren't right with Calvin but he won't admit it and although they share a charged hug, they quickly separate, knowing there's an attraction between them which should never raise its head…
Malachy's horrified when he discovers what Kris has to go through taking the PEP drugs, but it's worth it if it may stop him contracting HIV. As the PEP drug side effects begin to take a hold, Kris realises he's in for a rocky time as his body's gripped with pain.
Meanwhile, Malachy approaches Mercedes with a view to confessing the truth about his illness. However, he's unable to pluck up the courage. Instead, after a heartfelt apology from Mercedes for sleeping with Kris, they both admit that they've each been in the wrong. Agreeing that they're the best thing that ever happened to each other, they soon fall into each others arms and subsequently, Mercedes' bed, still without the truth of Malachy's HIV being spoken…
A hungover Louise wakes to a severe telling off from Warren. Defending herself, she brings up his secret meeting with Mandy yesterday, but the egg's on her face when Warren explains he was trying to organise a surprise for their honeymoon. When Warren arrives late for their meal in Il Gnosh, a paranoid Louise accuses him of having an affair with Mandy and an exasperated Warren once again has to defend himself.
