2409: Niall tries to kill the McQueens

Myra arrives at the church to find Niall waiting for her - and discovers he's her son. Niall embraces his mother but turns on her when she insists on seeing her children, knowing he will never be good enough, and continues to exact his revenge.

Myra's horrified when she sees all her girls are tied up and begs him to let them go but Niall refuses to listen and ties her up beside them, forcing her to admit to them that he's her son. The girls are shocked and beg for mercy as Niall tells them that the whole church is rigged with explosives and he's going to destroy them. His resolve weakens when the girls tell him he can be part of their family but he quickly realises what they're up to and comes up with a little game.

He's proceeds to ask Myra six questions and for each question she gets right, she gets to save one of her children. For each one she gets wrong, she must choose one of them to die. Myra refuses to participate but with the threat of the detonator, she has to. As Niall prepares to kill the chosen ones, Darren and jack burst through the doors. But Niall's determined to go through with his plan and presses the detonator. The church explodes, taking everyone down with it.

Darren's delighted that The Dog is finally his and makes the most of his time alone with Cindy, thinking all the family are well on their way to Spain. But he's horrified when he hears a noise from the flat and discovers his dad badly beaten. Jack tells him about his visit from Niall and that the McQueens are in danger. He has to go and help them, but Darren refuses to let him leave, knowing if he's seen they'll all go to prison. When Cindy sees Jack, he realises the game's up and hurries out to rescue the McQueens, with Darren close behind…

Tony's getting increasingly worried about Jacqui's disappearance and heads to the McQueens' with Dominic to see what's going on. They're cautious when they arrive at the house to find the front door wide open and the place eerily quiet. Tony rings Myra and his worst fears are confirmed when he realises the girls have been abducted when he hears their screams on the other end of the phone.

The phone call is cut short and Tony and Dominic search the house for clues as to their whereabouts. When they find the newspaper cutting for St Eustace church, the boys rush off to find them. Tony and Dominic are completely shocked when they collide with Jack at the church. Tony's angry with him for all the pain he's caused by faking his death but there's no time for that now as they rush to help the McQueens.
