2437: Neville hosts a gay night at the pub

Tony's flattered waking up to last night's conquest, Theresa, but he feels a little too rushed when she asks to meet up again and makes his excuses to get rid of her. Jacqui doesn't want to believe he stood her up yesterday and calls round to see him. Feeling guilty about his one-night stand and unsure of his feelings, he tells her he doesn't want to see her any more. Tony decides to cut all ties with Jacqui and accepts Ash's offer to buy Tan & Tumble. Jacqui's heartbroken after seeing Tony and when she finds out he's going to sell the salon without consulting her, she's livid.

When Tony insists what he does has nothing to do with her anymore, Jacqui's determined to get on with her life and glams herself up to go on the pull. But she can't go through with it - she doesn't want to play Tony at his own game, she just wants Tony. Tony's horrified when an obsessed Theresa turns up on his doorstep and he realises he's slept with a schoolgirl.

It's the opening night for The Jolly Roger. After a motivational pep-talk from Neville, everyone gets into their nautical costumes ready to welcome the customers but they don't all share Neville's enthusiasm. Rhys expectantly waits at the door for all the hot women to arrive but all they seem to get is an endless stream of men. It soon becomes clear to Rhys that Neville's hosting a gay night after a mix up with Spike's newspaper article.

Neville remains oblivious as he begins his speech to the punters and he's thrilled to see so many people dancing round and spending money. Hannah's annoyed when she sees Spike enter but does her best to stay away from him. Neville's on a high as the night proves a huge success, but he's stunned when the penny finally drops and Suzanne reveals he's been hosting a gay night. Seeing how fit the girls from The Saturdays are, Rhys decides to go and support Josh in The Battle of the Bands and get away from the madness.

Russ arrives at the pub to discover it's a gay night but Rhys insists he sticks around after laughing at him in his overtly gay outfit. When Ravi jokingly points out that he didn't think this was his scene, Russ feels uncomfortable after the pass he made at him but realises he's being stupid. Russ and Ravi head to The Loft and Russ is relieved to surround himself by straight women. Ravi confides how much he misses Nancy but Russ insists he has to stay away from her unless he's prepared to tell her everything.

Ash ropes Anita and Lauren into working for him in Relish when he realises they're bunking off school and none of his staff have turned up. They're a little wary when the work experience lad finally shows and they realise it's one of the trouble makers from school, Gaz. It's The girls are outraged when Gaz makes racist comments but Anita's too scared to retaliate. Ash isn't intimidated by Gaz and threatens him to leave. With none of his gang beside him, Gaz goes, but the girls are worried that it's not the last they'll see of him.
