Later: Malachy asks Mercedes to marry him

Mercedes' and Malachy's wedding is off. An angry Mercedes heads home to Hollyoaks. Kris and Cheryl try to play matchmaker to get the equally stubborn and bitter Mercedes and Malachy back together, but reconciliation looks less likely by the minute. In a desperate attempt, both Kris and Cheryl throw themselves in front of a bus to stop her. Meanwhile, Malachy has a run in with Shane, a realisation to Malachy of just how living with HIV affects every aspect of his life and who he is. He's still furious with Mercedes for announcing his illness to his local village. Will he forgive Mercedes and take her down the aisle. More to the point, will she agree to let him?

Having got more than a little intimate the previous night, Sarah and Zoe are struggling to get their friendship back on track. Sarah is adamant that what happens on tour stays on tour. She's clearly feeling confused and guilty having had a lesbian encounter with her dad's girlfriend. To make matters worse, she bumps into Craig in the village, her ex-fiancé who she finished with for doing exactly what she did last night - sex with his best friend. Feeling hypocritical, she heads home. Zoe and Sarah continue to bicker. It seems their friendship is over. How are they ever going to face Mike?

After the dramatic climax of last night's events, Steph, and Tom return to Hollyoaks village. Back in familiar surroundings, they head home with a sense of relief. Believing Niall's firmly behind them, they try to get back into a sense of normality. This is short-lived however, as Niall's actions continue to haunt Steph.

Dom is having the time of his life with Loretta. A perfect match, it's clear Loretta feels the same. There's just one thing missing - sex. They're having no success in the bedroom. They both desperately want each other, but they just don't seem to be able to get it going. Dom pulls out all the stops - romantic picnics and hot baths, anything to help get them together.
