2454: Eli returns to haunt Newt

Newt's feeling the side effects of ditching his medication but he wants to make his relationship with Lauren work and thinks this is the only way to do it. Lauren and Anita make friends and head to the school disco together, but Anita finds herself left on her own when Lauren and Newt make their peace and leaves.

A paranoid Newt is humiliated by Gaz in front of everyone and flees the room. Gaz accuses Newt of beating him up in the toilets as a dazed Newt once again flees. It's not until Lauren sees the grazes on Newt's knuckles that she realises he did attack Gaz. Newt's confused without his medication and has no idea what he's done.

Alone in the classroom, Newt admits he does care for Lauren and desperately wants to be with her but he can't find the words to say it so he kisses her. But as they start to get passionate, Eli returns.

Michaela, Josh and Amy have been roped in to help at the school disco but Michaela's got an idea to liven things up and relieve some of the boredom. It looks like her plan's going to fail, though, when Russ confiscates her alcohol and gives them a two-week detention until she produces another bottle hidden away and decides to teach him a lesson by spiking his drink.

Amy knows Josh is giving up a lot to be with her by not following his music career and arranges for him to perform at the school disco. She's touched when he plays his new song especially for her. A drunk Russ hits the dance floor and starts stripping in front of the kids but he's mortified when the head orders him to leave as Michaela reveals she's filmed it all on her mobile.

Theresa's worried that she's going to be in trouble for wasting police time and the whole village will be talking about her. Myra has a heart-to-heart with her niece and gives her some guidance. Myra promises that everyone will soon forget about what's happened and move on to the next bit of gossip. Jacqui takes Tony out for a drink to make up for all the trouble she's caused him but he's still very down on himself as he opens up about why he slept with Theresa and how he feels.

Jacqui apologises for what she's put him through and admits that she still has feelings for him. Jacqui doesn't want the night to end and invites Tony to continue their evening back at his, but Tony thinks it would be a mistake and declines her offer, leaving Jacqui low and confused.
