Bel tries to approach Anita about what she's done but is rebuked and subsequently interrupted by Gov bringing back a baffled Theresa who he's accusing of vandalising the gym. Myra arrives and the circus begins, with Gov keen to claim a McQueen scalp.
As the arguing reaches its climax, Anita suddenly cracks - unable to live with the guilt, she announces that it was her that broke into the school. Theresa's disgusted that her friend would let her take the fall and the McQueens want nothing more to do with the Roys. Bel's terrified of the effect that the incident will have on an already-fragile Anita, so in a moment of misplaced empathy, blurts out that Anita poured bleach on her legs. Anita's horrified and runs to her room.

To Josh and Rhys's amusement, Neville has gone ahead with his plans to record a song for Suzanne for their anniversary. Giving him relatively short shrift, the boys decide to plough on with their own musical ambitions. Kris suggests they go back on the radio to appeal for a singer to front the The Somethings.
In a desperate bid to find a singer, Josh puts on the CD of the mystery radio voice in the SU Bar in vain hope the person behind the voice might be in the bar at the time. He's left empty handed, though, when he discovers that Neville has recorded over the mystery voice with his anniversary song. Furious that they're going nowhere fast, Rhys takes it out on Hayley in the nastiest possible way and she storms out of the bar.

Zoe's experiencing chronic writer's block as she attempts to write, direct and edit a new film in just four weeks. Hayley convinces her that she has to go and talk to her tutor about her predicament. Instead, Zoe heads over to Mike's to pick up some of her belongings and stumbles across an old script that Mike wrote. After a moment's hesitation, she pockets it and scarpers. Over a drink, Zoe tells Hayley that she might have come up with some new material for the film.
Elsewhere, Darren's enjoying having Loretta living in the flat and even starts rifling through her underwear in the bathroom. To their equal horror, Loretta catches him admiring himself against one of her racier bras. Darren asks why she'd need them anyway as she's given up dancing. Loretta, however, finds herself caught on the back foot. She's made to feel even more guilt when Dom arrives with the classifieds in an attempt to help her find a new career.
Darren finally has his beliefs confirmed when he catches Loretta preparing to go to work again. Loretta makes Darren vow not to tell Dom her secret - but he wants something in exchange…
