2558: Justin attends an Ashworth family meal

Nancy's stunned by Russ' suggestion of taking Max and starting a new life abroad. Under pressure, she agrees to go along with his reckless plan. Deciding to get out of the way when Sarah and Zoe arrive, Russ bumps into Theresa in the village. Seeking revenge after their falling out at school, Russ listens with mounting horror as Theresa purposely goads him, saying that Max called Tony 'da-da'.

His blood boiling, Russ texts Nancy from outside the McQueens' and tells her to meet him there - it's time to snatch Max. When Nancy arrives, she attempts to make Russ see how futile this idea is, but he's adamant that it's time for action - he's done with dealing with solicitors.

Convincing him to go back to the flat, Nancy remains alarmed by Russ' determination to take Max and live abroad. Insisting she loves him, Russ is halted in his tracks when she delivers an ultimatum. It's decision time - choose her and Hollyoaks or a new life abroad with Max. Russ is forced to make the biggest decision of his life…

Hannah's in full panic mode with the impending arrival of Justin for his first Ashworth family meal - she wants everything to be just right. However, Suzanne's more concerned about the hidden food she's discovered in Hannah's bedroom. Justin's arrival does little to calm Hannah's mood and she's suspicious when she catches Rhys whispering a threat into Justin's ear.

As the meal gets underway, Justin comes in for attack from Rhys, so much so that Hannah's convinced that Rhys is responsible for planting the food in her room - so he can blame Justin. Alarmed by her daughter's erratic mood swings, Suzanne confides her fears to Rhys, who's devastated to hear that Hannah thinks he's responsible.

Downstairs in the Dog, the atmosphere remains tense, before Justin and Rhys eventually come to blows. Once Justin leaves, the rest of the family are stunned to hear about Suzanne's discovery. Maintaining she's fine, Hannah runs to her room, trying to remain in control of her emotions…

Carmel struggles to cope looking after a crying Max and is grateful when Theresa takes over. Appearing to have the knack of keeping him amused, the peace is shattered once again when Theresa flees the house, leaving a crying Max behind with Jacqui and Carmel.

Deciding to have a McQueen photo done of Max, Jacqui, Carmel and Theresa take great delight in dressing him up and staging his photo, while outside, a torn Russ deliberates, desperate to see his son. Finding the perfect photo of Max, Carmel quashes Jacqui's fears of ruining her one and only shot of motherhood and insists she's the perfect Mum for Max…

Elsewhere, Sarah's in a flap - she's cooking dinner for Lydia and has no idea what to do. Arriving at Nancy's with Zoe in toe for advice, she soon diverts Nancy's attention from Russ with her plea for help. As the cooking lesson gets underway, Zoe clearly wants to unburden her plagiarism guilt, but somehow the timing is never quite right and she keeps her secret to herself.
