2589: Newt sleeps with Theresa again

Determined to give the students a good send off before they take their first steps into the scary world of work, Archie organises a pre-grad party in halls. Kris is horrified at the thought that his student life is over as the lads pack up their things and squabble over who owns what.

Zak looks a little guilty when Kris informs Archie that he's found them somewhere to live but he stalls and takes him to the pub for a pint instead. It soon becomes clear to Kris that Zak doesn't have anything lined up at all and that they'll have to make amends with Elliot to get back into halls.

With the party underway, everyone's feeling emotional as their student days are coming to an end. Elliot soon realises that he's going to miss his friends, while Kris gives a heartfelt speech…

Meanwhile, Zoe's resigned herself to the fact that she can't graduate tomorrow and decides to get out of Hollyoaks - that is until Archie persuades her to stay and talk to Sarah.

Zoe's unsure Sarah will ever be able to forgive her for what she's done but realises that she has to try. Sarah doesn't want to listen but Zoe desperately wants to put things right between them and refuses to leave until she's explained.

The girls have a heated discussion and turn on each other but Sarah's shocked when Zoe reveals that she's failed her degree because Mike made her withdraw her film. Zoe caves when she tells Sarah that she's lost everything and she doesn't want to lose her too.

After a heart-to-heart, their friendship's back on track and they head out for pizza and beer. But reality hits when Zoe receives a text from her mum saying how much she's looking forward to her graduation tomorrow. It's at that point she realises that she hasn't told her parents about failing her degree.

Not wanting to think about it, Zoe insists they're going to Archie's party and that she'll leave the village before her parents find out but Sarah persuades Zoe to stay and face the music…

Darren can't cope with the fact that Cindy's moved on and can't get her out of his head. When he bumps into her in the village, he tries to convince her that he's moved on and announces that he has a date. Now all he has to do is find one.

Scanning the village, Darren finds his prey when his eyes land on Theresa. Darren turns on the charm and attempts to be alluring but Theresa's not falling for his pervy act and he's forced to come clean - he'll give her £25 if she meets him in the village, dressed to kill and convince Cindy that they're an item. But Darren's left looking like a fool when Theresa fails to show and he's humiliated by an amused Cindy and Ste…

Newt's hanging out with Lauren but his attention's taken by Theresa when he sees her emerging from Il Gnosh with Ste. It's slightly uncomfortable between them as they make eye contact across the village - they haven't been in touch since they slept together the previous week.

Newt's waiting for Lauren outside Drive 'N' Buy as they're on their way into town to get T-shirts signed by their favourite band. Newt soon comes face-to-face with Theresa. The young McQueen's playing it cool but asks him if he wants to hang out with her. Newt feels guilty but quickly makes his excuses to an unsuspecting Lauren and hurries off after Theresa.

The sexual tension mounts when Newt turns up on Theresa's doorstep and although they both know that they have got nothing in common, they can't resist each other as Newt takes Theresa to bed. Newt's guilt, however, is heightened when he bumps into Lauren on the way home.
