
Ash eventually manages to win Sasha round, too, and the deal is done. But when Spencer's solicitor tries to put the money in the bank, he panics and the whole phone scandal is uncovered. Sasha and Calvin are furious with Ash for duping Spencer, but he protests that he did him a favour buying The Loft.
Meanwhile, Spencer has escaped. When Sasha and Calvin find him waiting for Warren, Sasha has to convince him that his brother isn't coming. Distraught, Spencer falls into her arms…
It's the day of the charity fete at Il Gnosh and while Zak's busy hanging banners, an exhausted looking Ste emerges from the kitchen, having cut himself badly. Ignoring Ste's protests, Tony orders him to get the cut looked at.
Over at the hospital, Abi stitches Ste's wound but she clearly feels guilty for doping him with caffeine. Daniel, meanwhile, is worried that Abi's going soft when he sees her turn up at Il Gnosh with Ste. Abi explains her fears, arguing that in Ste's condition, he could end up hurting one of the children.

Zak's boosted when he wakes from a dream about Michaela. He believes that it could mean his girlfriend will take him back. Later, when Michaela finds him helping out Cheryl at the charity fete, she's annoyed but he manages to convince him to go for a drink.
Cheryl's put out but maintains the charm offensive, much to Michaela's annoyance. When the two girls bump into each another in the toilets, there's a harsh exchange of words and Michaela ends up hitting Cheryl with a door. For Zak, though, it looks like his relationship is back on track…
Meanwhile, Malachy's overjoyed when receives the all-clear. However, Mercedes is down in the dumps, thinking that she's ruined things with her husband. He turns up just as she's triumphing over Cheryl in the charity fete's gladiator arena. But while Mercedes is distracted, Cheryl lands a lucky blow and fells her opponent. To make things worse, Mercedes watches on as Cheryl triumphantly flings her arms around Malachy.
Mercedes storms off, leaving Malachy with Cheryl. Eventually, Malachy is forced to tell Cheryl to respect his wife. Later, Mercedes can't believe it when Cheryl turns up to apologise for her behaviour, but the truce doesn't last long - Mercedes is livid when Cheryl claims that she now has her sights firmly set on Zak. Mercedes soon bumps into Malachy and they quickly patch things up…
