2617: Carmel offers Jacqui a partnership in Evissa

Carmel's stressing over the grand re-opening of Evissa, desperately wanting it to be a family affair. With the launch only a day away, Carmel quickly finds herself snowed under with all the work and on seeing how low she's feeling, Michaela and Zak 'Carmelise' the salon, turning it into a pink palace.

After discovering that she's has been sleeping in the salon, Michaela confronts her sister who admits that her feud with Jacqui is getting her down and she feels unwelcome in the family home. Michaela vows to mend the rift between her siblings by hatching a plan to put Jacqui out of business, forcing her to team up with Carmel.

Finding a flyer advertising spray tans at Evissa, a furious Jacqui heads over to confront them. Even when Michaela admits that it was her idea, Jacqui lays into a devastated Carmel.

Unable to cope with Jacqui's hatred, Carmel tries to win her over by offering her a partnership at the salon. Although initially taken aback, Jacqui quickly tells Carmel that nothing she ever does will make up for losing Max.

Meanwhile, Zoe's still furious with Kris after he sacked Zak but Kris continues to take his role as an ASS very seriously, ordering Zoe to get back to work. Zoe can't believe that her friend who used to be so against conformity could change so much. When she confronts Kris about his behaviour, he defensively issues her with a verbal warning. Kris soon realises what an idiot he's been and, much to Sheila's disappointment, steps down from his role, promising Zoe that he's still the same old Kris.

Kris and Zoe soon return to their usual gossiping ways and their work in the call centre remains as dull as ever. As they leave for the day, Sheila asks to speak to Zoe.

Zoe jokes to Kris that she's probably going to get sacked so it comes as a big shock when Sheila actually offers Zoe the job as ASS, listing all the benefits to tempt her. Much to Kris' outrage, Zoe decides to accept Sheila's offer.

Rhys is still angry after Neville sacked him from The Dog and promoted Darren to bar manager. Not taking their threat to throw him out seriously, Rhys continues to wind up Suzanne and Neville. When Rhys and Josh get together for a jamming session, Suzanne sees red but when Neville intervenes, Rhys is quick to remind him that he's not his dad.

Neville and Suzanne tell Rhys that he's got to leave, so Josh decides to stick up for his brother and threatens to leave with him. Not expecting his plan to backfire, Josh is stunned when their parents tell both him and Rhys that they have got to move out.

Elsewhere, Cindy has all-but moved herself and Holly in with Tony and is feeling pretty confident over the way everything's panning out. Seeing Darren, she brags about how well her plan's coming together, only for Darren to remind her that he's still one step ahead as he's married to Hannah.

After being asked by Cindy who she prefers, Holly has pros and cons for both Tony and Darren, so Cindy decides to explain to Holly what prospects are and how Tony has more than Darren.

Later, while Tony is minding her, Holly brings up her earlier conversation with Cindy, telling a very uneasy Tony that she's aware he and Cindy will get married.

When Cindy returns, she's quick to laugh off Holly's suggestions but although slightly reassured, Tony's decided the relationship is moving far too fast and returns Cindy's toothbrush…
