2635: Cindy and Tony get engaged

Tony and Cindy struggle to work out their on-off relationship. Tony wallows in self pity, while Cindy's dejected as nobody seems to take her seriously. Cindy has Steph phone in sick for her, but she runs into Tony outside Il Gnosh where he realises that she's really avoiding him.

They agree that their breakup was for the best, but neither is able to articulate their true feelings that they'd like to try again. Tony confides in Dom who suggests that they spend a quiet brotherly night in together and forget about women for a while, but Tony can't stop thinking about Cindy.

As Cindy and Steph compare love lives, Cindy finds herself slightly jealous of Steph's relationship with Fernando as she tries to work out her true feelings for Tony. Tony, meanwhile, searches for some answers about Cindy from Jack who tells him to stop worrying and talk to her directly.

Taking Jack's advice, Tony goes over to Steph's flat with a treat for Holly - an act that doesn't win Cindy over as she feels undermined her as mother. As Tony and Cindy talk things through, Tony expresses his feelings for Cindy but gets carried away in the moment and somehow finds himself proposing in jest.

Cindy goes along with the joke, but before they know quite what they're saying, they end up making a surprising commitment.

Meanwhile, Zoe stressed by the obstacles facing her reality TV project. As she reviews her footage of Theresa, Archie underscores the point that the young McQueen is underage. Realising that she can't use the material in good conscience, Zoe hits upon an idea when Nancy remarks she can't ask anybody else to do something she wouldn't be prepared to do herself.

Growing increasingly desperate and running out of time, Zoe tries to convince Archie to film her posing for the video, but Archie finds the prospect of a racy shoot with his sister a little too weird.

Zoe searches for an alternative model with no success. Out of options, Zoe goes against her conscience in an attempt to boost her career.

Elsewhere, Loretta starts a new job in the launderette. Ash tries to flirt with her as he shows her the ropes but Loretta doesn't show much interest. When Ravi arrives to repair one of the washing machines, Loretta perks up.

Ash muscles in with a cocky attitude, but Loretta soon bonds with Ravi instead over a shared disdain for his brother. Seeing Ravi unsteady on his feet, Loretta shows a genuine concern that is quickly brushed aside by Ravi in favour of some light flirting.

Later, Ravi notices Loretta's scars and the two of them share a tender moment. Seizing the opportunity, Ravi asks Loretta out on a date.
