Flashforward: Calvin and Carmel's second wedding

It's the day of Calvin and Carmel's second wedding and true to form, nothing's going to plan. Carmel's distraught when she discovers that her wedding dress has shrunk in the wash, but determined that the day will be perfect, she quickly decides on an unusual alternative.

With the excitement building, the McQueen sisters enjoy a glass of champagne as Carmel gushes over her wonderful husband-to-be but it's clear that Mercedes is not as enamoured with the celebrations - she's already refused to be a bridesmaid and missed Carmel's hen night, so Jacqui wants to know why she's determined to spoil Carmel's big day. Outside the house, Mercedes reveals the truth and Jacqui is shocked to the core.

Calvin visits Sasha in The Loft and it's clear that all's not well between the pair. As Calvin tries to make amends, Sasha reveals that Calvin means nothing to her anymore, before asking him to leave.

Mercedes is evidently troubled by her sister's pending wedding and goes to visit Calvin in a desperate attempt to persuade him to change his mind. There, it's clear that Calvin's not interested in Mercedes when he claims that Carmel's everything she'll never be. As Calvin confirms that their affair meant nothing, a distressed Mercedes is left out on the street, devastated by Calvin's hurtful words.

Determined not to let the morning's events spoil his big day, Calvin's all smiles as his beautiful bride finally makes it down the aisle. Carmel's bursting with happiness as she enjoys her picture-perfect wedding but as the wedding guests arrive at the reception, it's apparent that not everyone is there to wish Calvin well.

When best man Malachy steps up to make his speech, a nervous Calvin is worried that his big secret is about to be exposed...

Malachy, however, soon leaves the wedding to find his wife. Back at the McQueens', Mercedes is drowning her sorrows and Malachy knows exactly why...

It's payback time for Sasha, Lauren and Spencer when they arrive late to the reception. Their hatred for Calvin is apparent, but it's Spencer who's left scared and confused by Lauren's shocking revelation.

Tony and Cindy are doing their best to enjoy the wedding, but recent events have taken their toll. Cindy's mind is elsewhere as she worries how Holly is really coping and if, as a family, they'll ever be able to move on. Tony does his best to reassure his wife but faced with Darren's taunts, it's clear that he, too, wonders how long they can keep things going.

Elsewhere, a hate-filled Zak taunts Calvin with racist jibes that provoke a violent response from the newlywed. Rhys, meanwhile, asks Calvin to ensure that his secret stay between them.

As day turns to night, the guests make way for Calvin and Carmel's first dance but as man and wife take to the dance floor, someone's about to make Calvin's earlier vows a reality - 'til death us do part...'
