2787: Jake discovers Caroline's secret

Caroline's overjoyed that Jake's staying with her but it's clear that his mind is elsewhere. Jake desperately wants to make contact with home in order to reassure them that he's okay but with his phone having mysteriously disappeared, he's completely cut off.

Caroline reassures him that by lying low, he's doing the right thing. However, it soon becomes apparent that she has an ulterior motive.

While Caroline's out, Jake continues to search for his missing phone but ends up finding more than he bargained for. Caroline returns to find Jake has discovered her secret and quickly decides to take matters into her own hands…

Meanwhile, as Michaela and Sasha babysit, Amy's determined to carve a better future for herself and heads to the HCC open day. Initially feeling like a fish out of water, Amy's pleasantly surprised when she meets Olly, a current student promoting the law degree. It's not long before she lands herself a date.

Back at home, Michaela spots potential in Leah and Lucas to help save the McQueens' home.

Elsewhere, Carmel can't help but worry why Calvin was visiting the police station the previous day. Concerned that something's wrong - and still unable to forget about the part he played in Warren's death - Carmel confides her fears in Mercedes.

When Mercedes mocks Carmel for her tendency to overreact, Carmel explains that she has reason to doubt Calvin and ultimately reveals his secret. When Mercedes tries to reach out to Calvin one last time, he confirms that it's Carmel who he wants to be with.

Mercedes leaves a scorned woman - and takes immediate action with revenge in mind…
