2038: Craig gives in to his feelings for John Paul

John Paul is having vivid dreams about Craig – but will his dreams come true? Craig can’t concentrate on his revision thanks to Steph, who is prattling on about how much she likes Spike. Sarah’s angling for Craig’s attention after the tough time she’s gone through with her dad, but even she can’t seem to curb his preoccupation with John Paul. Craig tries to talk to John Paul, but he’s left feeling jealous of his relationship with Spike. As he sits down for his exam, Craig is still struggling with his feelings. He decides to pay John Paul a visit and they’re both left reeling at the outcome…

Meanwhile, Louise has got morning sickness, but Calvin couldn’t be happier. When Calvin buys her a baby grow, Louise does her best to look happy, but something’s wrong. Louise’s mood doesn’t improve when Warren sends her some balloons and Clare appears, digging for dirt. Clare wants to know why Louise isn’t over the moon about her impending motherhood – and doesn’t stop until she finds out why.

Elsewhere, Nancy is out of prescription pills and she’s struggling to keep her eyes open. Jake tries to offer some support, but he’s got Charlie and a job interview to juggle. Nancy tries to score some more pills from Wayne, but he seems more interested taking Nancy to the cinema on a date. Desperate for drugs, Nancy agrees to a date, but she freaks when Wayne fails to deliver. Just as she reaches the end of her tether, Jake asks Nancy to babysit Charlie – with horrifying consequences…
