2093: Kathy loses it

Tensions are running high in the Barnes household. Kathy is clearly in a state and Mike is sleeping on the couch. Just as the family are at their wits' end about Kathy, she is sent further to the edge after a kiss-and-tell story about her appears in a gossip magazine. Kathy resorts to desperate measures as wallowing in self-pity buys her no mileage in the family.

Meanwhile, an immigration visit puts Tony on edge. Struggling to make Tony and Jacqui see sense about chucking them out, Carmel and Aleksander are further stunned when Jacqui drops a bombshell. When the immigration officer leaves, the charade of Jacqui and Aleksander looks set to continue. But, with Jacqui and Tony now having more reason than before to want privacy, no one is convinced the marriage of convenience will last.

Elsewhere, the Craig-Sarah-John Paul love triangle looks set to implode. Sarah, smarting from a kiss-and-tell story about her family, confronts John Paul, determined to take it out on the suspect's brother. Not sure what Sarah is on about – and concerned Craig has already told her about their relationship – John Paul looks like he may just spill the beans. Craig steps in just in time and steers things to calm waters. For now, the love-triangle is intact. But John Paul is determined to force Craig to choose between him and Sarah.

And Bonnie is stunned when Steph announces that she and Elliot are an item. Blaming Steph for wrecking things, she reminds Elliot of his engagement and the imminent nuptials with Rhiannon. Elliot storms off as the two women argue. Bonnie is left wondering whether Elliot will turn his back on his childhood sweetheart Rhiannon and the wedding at the cathedral.
