The actor, who played Ty Harper on the Australian soap, is currently in Los Angeles auditioning for a number of roles.
Despite quitting the show to pursue a career in the music industry, his manager David Champion confirmed that he is hoping to make it on to the big screen.
"He's in LA auditioning for several different parts," he told AdelaideNow.
Geyer first found fame when he competed on Australian Idol in 2006. His music was incorporated into Neighbours storylines during his one-year stint on the soap.
He recently told the Herald Sun that he was planning on having acting lessons to help him break into Hollywood.
"I'm open to studying a bit of acting and I'd love to get some singing lessons because I never have. I would love to do a whole lot of stuff next year that I feel will really put me in good stead," he said.
