The actor, 11, joined the soap in 2007 as Mickey Gannon, the secret son of Ned Parker (Dan O'Connor). Despite O'Connor's on screen departure last year, O'Leary remained with the series and his character moved in with his relatives, the Parkers.
Last month, doubts were raised over O'Leary's future with the soap after it was announced that the Parker family were to be written out.
O'Leary's final episode will air in Australia on Friday, July 10.
