Woodburne praises 'natural' co-star

Neighbours actress Jackie Woodburne has praised her young co-star Margot Robbie as being a "complete natural".

Last month, Robbie, who joins the soap in June as teenager Donna Freedman, received her first Logie nomination for most popular new female talent.

"Margot's just a complete natural," Woodburne told TV Week. "She has that rare and very special combination of being very instinctive in her work [as well as having] an actor's intellect, which allows her to play comic or dramatic moments brilliantly."

When asked about Robbie's Australian TV award nomination, Woodburne said: "She is the real deal and I'm so pleased about her nomination."

Recently, Robbie announced plans to launch a career in the United States when she eventually decides to leave Neighbours.
