Last month, Brett Tucker - who plays Ramsay Street local Dan - announced that he was leaving the soap in September and moving to the US after winning a green card.
Earlier this week, Australian publication TV Soap speculated that a new actor may take over the role of Dan following Tucker's departure. However, producers have today confirmed to DS that there are no plans to recast.
In June, Pippa Black also announced that she is leaving the series to head overseas.
