The actress, who stars as Ramsay Street's resident biker chick Steph Scully, recently celebrated her tenth anniversary with the soap.
"I have had so many massive storylines over the years," she told website TV Tonight. "Steph went through a really hard time with breast cancer, went into remission, fell pregnant and then had the cancer return, dying while she was giving birth! It was all very dramatic!
"I must do the angst really well because Steph's always going through crap!"
The 36-year-old added that she is interested in pursuing other acting roles in the future and making use of a clause in her contract that allows her to follow such opportunities.
"[The producers] agreed to eight weeks out to do something. I love my job here don't get me wrong, but I would love to be able to sink my teeth into something else as well," she said.
Bonner recently welcomed her on-screen mother Janet Andrewartha back to the series when she reprised her role as Lyn Robinson for a six-month stay.
