Andrew Robinson returns to Erinsborough
Ramsay Street villain Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) is in for a shock when his son Andrew returns to Erinsborough.

The Herald Sun reports that 20-year-old Queenslander Jordon Smith has been cast as Paul's youngest child and will debut on Neighbours in December.

Andrew was last seen in 1992 when he left Ramsay Street with Paul and mum Christina (Gayle Blakeney).

Scottish-born Smith admitted that he nearly had to turn down the role after a workplace accident left him hospitalised.

"I'd been doing some work as a labourer and I'd been lifting up concrete floors when some of the concrete flew up and smashed into my face," he said. "My nose got all swollen and became infected, so I was kept on a drip of antibiotics for a week.

"I got the call to say I got the part while I still in hospital on the Sunday night and I had to be in Melbourne by 7am the next day."

Meanwhile, website The Perfect Blend reports that Janet Andrewartha - who plays Paul's most recent ex-wife Lyn - will remain in Ramsay Street beyond her initial six-month stay. She will now be back long-term as an ongoing guest.
