Korean band film 'Neighbours' cameo
Korean indie band The Black Skirts have flown to Australia specially to film a cameo role on Neighbours, reports the Herald Sun.

Upon arrival last Wednesday, the group were taken to the Neighbours studios where they filmed their scenes before flying out on Friday.

As part of their cameo appearance, The Black Skirts are joined on stage by characters Margot Robbie (Donna Freedman), Hany lee (Sunny Lee) and Ashleigh Brewer (Kate Ramsay) as backup singers.

"We needed a band for a scene with our Korean character Sunny Lee and The Black Skirts saw it as a great opportunity for international exposure, so organised flights and visas straight away," said Neighbours producer Neal Kingston. "And they were fantastic, so we were delighted."

A number of celebrities have recently shot cameos with the series, including Lily Allen and Jason Coleman, whose appearances will both go to air in Australia this week. Get the Inside Soap magazine on your iPhone or iPad
