Wedding surprise for 'Neighbours' couple

Neighbours villain Paul Robinson is to spring a wedding surprise on partner Rebecca in a forthcoming storyline, it has been revealed.

According to TV Week, the ruthless businessman organises a marriage renewal ceremony in secret before revealing the news to Rebecca just moments before he wants the event to take place.

However, in a twist, Paul's decision comes just as Rebecca's feelings for Erinsborough High principal Michael Williams (Sandy Winton) are strengthening - and she is preparing for a secret meeting with him when Paul announces his romantic plans.

Jane Hall, who plays Rebecca, told the magazine: "Rebecca finds it easy to confide in Mike - he's been just what she needs. Her feelings for Mike have been growing rapidly."

Despite her true feelings, it is thought that Rebecca feels she has no choice but to go along with Paul's plan as he has been blackmailing her to stay with him.

The storyline plays out on Australian screens next week.
