'Neighbours' star: 'Kym return is great'

Janet Andrewartha has said that she is pleased to have Neighbours co-star Kym Valentine back on set following her recent health troubles.

Valentine, who plays fan favourite Libby Kennedy on the soap, checked into a private Melbourne hospital late last year amid reports that she was suffering from exhaustion.

Earlier this month, however, it was confirmed that the actress had returned to filming following her break.

Speaking to Holy Soap about the star, Andrewartha - better known as Lyn Scully - commented: "We have all missed her and she is a bright energy around the place, full of beans and it's just great to have her back."

In a recent statement addressing her health problems, Valentine said: "In the past I had a series of private emotional and physical issues that led to a decline in my health, which are still too raw to talk about. However, right now I feel great, and I'm so excited to be back at work."

Valentine has played the role of Libby on and off since 1994.
