Neighbours has been named 'Best Daytime Soap' in Digital Spy's 2011 reader poll.
The Ramsay Street serial, which recently reached its 25th year airing on UK screens, beat Home and Away and Doctors to the title.

Neighbours' biggest storylines this year have included Callum (Morgan Baker) discovering that Sonya is his mother, Karl and Susan (Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne) experiencing fresh marital turmoil, Natasha (Valentina Novakovic) trying to discover the truth about her past and the dramatic departure of police detective Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor).
The show is currently on its Christmas break in the UK but will air more drama in the New Year as the Kate and Noah story comes to a head and Chris's homophobia plotline is revisited.
Home and Away took second place in the poll, while Doctors was third.
Neighbours and Home and Away both return to screens on Monday, January 16 on Channel 5. Doctors is back on BBC One on Tuesday, January 3.
