'Neighbours' Summer, Susan to team up against Paul, says Jordy Lucas

Neighbours star Jordy Lucas has revealed that her character Summer will see her career threatened in an upcoming storyline.



The actress explained that Summer will team up with Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) against Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) after he tries to "sabotage" her career, leading to several clashes between the pair.

"There will definitely be more of Summer and Paul clashing in the future," she told Channel 5. "A lot of it is very funny, and some of it is actually quite serious in terms of the community. Paul tries to sabotage a few things going on, and Summer and Susan actually work it out and reveal it.

"When Summer and Paul clash in that sense it's not funny at all; it's quite serious, and Summer's job is actually on the line."

Lucas has also revealed her hopes that Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan Kennedy will reunite in the future.

The actress recently spoke to Digital Spy about Summer's future storylines, saying: "There'll be lots of drama with Andrew and her career, lots of scandal with Paul Robinson and the newspaper, and more trouble with Karl and Susan that really upsets Summer.

"There's also a fair bit coming up for Tash in terms of Emilia and Michael, which Summer helps her go through. There's lots to look forward to!"
