'Neighbours' star to quit acting
Neighbours star Kyal Marsh is planning to quit acting to become a carpenter.

The 19-year-old actor, who plays Boyd Hoyland on the popular Australian soap, films his last scene later this month.

He told LastBroadcast.co.uk: "My dad owns a building company, so I think I'll start an apprenticeship in carpentry and hopefully work alongside him. I also really want to join the army reserves."

Marsh likened the show's cast turnover rate to "one of those youth hostels you stay at where people are always coming and going. You just start to get really friendly with someone and then bam! They're gone, haha."
