Revamped 'Neighbours' attracts Oz viewers
More than 1 million Australian viewers tuned in to Network Ten for a first look at the revamped Neighbours yesterday.

Monday evening's episode - which featured new credits, a new theme tune and a change to HD filming - pulled in an average of 1.05 million viewers in the 6.30pm slot. It is the first time that the soap's viewing figures have topped 1 million this year; just a few months ago, it was pulling in fewer than 700,000 viewers.

The episode saw Rosie and Frazer tying the knot and also introduced viewers to Ned Parker's relatives.

Further changes will be rolled out over the coming months, including a shift back to "realistic" storylines.
