'Neighbours': Karl and Susan say goodbye to Audrey - Spoiler Pictures

Neighbours' estranged couple Karl and Susan Kennedy are left heartbroken on UK screens next week as they have to say goodbye to their beloved dog Audrey.

When Audrey is taken to see the vet as she hasn't been feeling well, Karl (Alan Fletcher) soon hears that her condition is serious.

Karl then has to break the news to Susan (Jackie Woodburne) that the kindest option is for Audrey to be put to sleep. Soon afterwards, the pair unite to share their memories of Audrey before the vet arrives to end the pooch's suffering.

With Karl and Susan's shared history being revisited, could Audrey's death bring them closer together, or will it tear them further apart?

Neighbours bosses came up with the storyline as the real-life Audrey had passed away following a short illness.
