'Neighbours' deception, 'Home and Away' Casey latest - pictures

By
Neighbours parents-to-be Vanessa Villante and Lucas Fitzgerald embark on a deception that may well end in tears on UK screens later this month.

The pair find themselves pretending to be a proper couple after Vanessa's strict mother Francesca descends on Ramsay Street unexpectedly.

Vanessa (Alin Sumarwata) is well aware that conservative Francesca won't approve of her being a single mum, so she is grateful when Lucas (Scott Major) saves the day by presenting himself as her loving partner.

Immediately keen to find out more about the new man in her daughter's life, Francesca (Carmelina di Guglielmo) suggests that they should all head out for some coffee together.

After bombarding Lucas with questions at Harold's Store, it's clear that Francesca isn't yet impressed - so she orders Vanessa to leave them alone to talk privately.

Soon afterwards, Sonya Mitchell spots a tense conversation between Lucas and Francesca. Pulling him aside for a private chat, Sonya reminds Lucas that he's supposed to be getting over Vanessa and this charade can't be helping.

Lucas knows deep down that Sonya is right, but he ultimately commits to the scheme and tries to win over Francesca by expressing just how much he loves Vanessa.

Finally satisfied, Francesca causes a stir by informing Lucas and Vanessa that they need to get married if they're really serious about each other...

Also ahead on Neighbours, Summer Hoyland starts to play with fire as she embraces her spontaneous side.

When Summer (Jordy Lucas) begins dating her older work colleague Bradley Fox later this month, she initially goes all-out to appear more mature around him - conscious of their age difference. However, Bradley (Aaron Jeffery) can sense what she is doing and instead encourages her to lighten up.

Taking this on board, Summer invites Bradley back to the newspaper office after hours so they can have some fun together.

Things soon heat up between the pair, but as they unknowingly set off the office alarm, Susan Kennedy is alerted that there's been a break-in. Will Summer be busted?

Over on Home and Away, Brax decides that his younger brother Casey needs some time away from Summer Bay following his recent troubles.

Brax's concerns for Casey (Lincoln Younes) escalate when he sees that the tormented teenager has had an "All Or Nothing" tattoo inked across his back - just like their late father.

Worried that Casey is trying to turn himself into Danny, Brax (Steve Peacocke) confronts him at home but is relieved when he finally opens up by telling the full story of the shooting.

As Casey confesses how terrible he feels, Brax is taken aback as he had no idea that his sibling was hurting so much.

In the end, Brax asks Casey to join him on a trip out of town for a few days so they can both clear their heads. However, as they make their departure, Kyle is watching from the shadows and follows them...

Also coming up in Summer Bay, Romeo Smith almost drowns as he battles to get himself back to full fitness.

After re-injuring his knee, Romeo (Luke Mitchell) makes the mistake of training hard for an upcoming surf carnival, ignoring advice that he's not allowing himself enough time to recover properly.

While out surfing, the warnings Romeo received prove well-founded as he encounters more problems with his knee and finds himself in a perilous situation in the water.

Fortunately, John Palmer (Shane Withington) rushes out to help and pulls Romeo back to safety, but Romeo's foolish behaviour continues as he soon asks Heath to supply him with steroids…
