5602: Susan's furious with Sam

Rachel finds, to her horror, that the record company want to sign her. Not Ty. To her surprise, Ty tells her to go for it, and sees the potential in being her songwriter.

Rachel doubts she can do it. Ty doesn’t understand her problem and puts on the pressure, forcing Rachel to rip up the contract. Whose break was it anyway?

Sam interrupts the Kennedy Christmas with a baby crisis, and Libby is shocked to learn of Sam’s demand that she have nothing to do with the pregnancy. Susan clocks the stress Sam is placing on Dan and Libby and that their relationship is suffering because of it.
