5637: Libby and Dan's wedding ends in tragedy

Libby clearly has a better idea of what’s going on with her mysterious health than anyone else and proceeds with the wedding despite being desperately unwell. Karl and Susan discover Libby has dug out a childhood talisman to get her through the big day.

As the ceremony is about to begin, Libby’s crippled with pain but determined to walk down the aisle – she will marry her beloved Dan. Libby manages to get through the ceremony but collapses unconscious only minutes after.

Declan and Rebecca find themselves with nowhere to go and low on funds. Rebecca has no choice but to ask Paul for help. But when Cass answers his phone, Rebecca is thrown by her sudden pang of jealousy. The man hurt her so much – so why does she still care who he’s with?

Realising Rebecca is a threat to her designs on Paul, Cass sets about trying to wangle an invite to the wedding. Frustrated that Libby and Dan don’t seem to be getting the hint, she steals the bridal party’s dresses, then offers her services as a seamstress to alter the replacement garments. The plan works a treat, and she finds herself a guest at the wedding.
