5640: Rebecca acts on her feelings for Paul

Rebecca publicly denies any feelings for Paul when confronted by Cass at the wedding reception. Seeing through Rebecca’s denial, Elle locks Cass in Harold’s Store to give Rebecca and Paul alone time. Rebecca and Paul share a dance but Rebecca is unable to trust her feelings for Paul, and lets him go home alone.

After a near-kiss with Lucas, Elle frees Cass from the store and Cass determines to prove she is better for Paul than Rebecca. Paul returns to Charlie’s admitting his feelings to Rebecca but she’s sound asleep. Paul offers to take her home and she accepts - only if they go to his house.

As Rebecca wakes to find herself in bed with Paul, Cass encourages Andrew Simpson to make a play for Rebecca. So when Rebecca creeps out of Paul’s, she’s confronted by Andrew hoping to give their relationship another go.

Much to Ringo’s annoyance, Donna and Zeke spend the night of the wedding reception forging a close bond. After a confrontation with Ringo, a moment of comfort between Zeke and Donna turns into a kiss.

Jealous, Ringo throws a punch at Zeke, but Zeke is a changed man these days, and defends himself, flooring shocked Ringo in front of the neighbours.
