5642: Zeke betrays Rachel

Fearing she’s about to make a huge mistake, Zeke pushes Rachel to tell people about her London scholarship offer. She tries to talk to Ty, but his struggle to give up music makes Rachel feel she can’t leave him. Having made the decision not to go, Rachel finally tells her family. Susan and Karl are disappointed but understanding.

Realising Ty is the only thing keeping Rachel from taking up the amazing opportunity, Zeke goes behind Rachel’s back, and Rachel’s stunned when Ty dumps her.

When Andrew reveals he’s planning to ask Rebecca to marry him, Elle lights a fire under her father, encouraging him to win Rebecca back before it’s too late. Paul lays his heart on the line but Rebecca reveals she’s moving on - she has a brand new rock on her finger to prove it.

Susan and Karl are at a loss to know how to deal with angry young men Ringo and Zeke. Talking to them doesn’t seem to be doing anything and Steve suggests a boxing match. If they’re going to fight, they might as well do it in protective gear and according to a set of rules.

Karl and Susan are both appalled by the suggestion that more violence is the answer but when Susan sees how desperate the situation is, she changes her mind. Karl is horrified to learn that she’s set up a fight and is encouraging the boys to slug it out.
